We had a lovely stay, delicious food and a very relaxing spa with a wonderful treatment. Faye went above and beyond to arrange this and deserves a special mention. Would definitely recommend

We just had. One night stay in the middle of storm Darragh, it was extremely challenging for everyone , hotel and guests alike, the hotel as a result was short staffed however the team that were there were incredible and worked extremely hard repairing a storm damaged window and providing a 5 star service at the same time . I wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again. Breakfast was excellent and worth the money.

We had a great two-night stay at The Springs for our anniversary. When we arrived, we headed straight to the spa, which was relaxing and quiet, followed by a lovely dinner at their restaurant. On the second day, we played a round of golf and loved it. The course is open and not too tricky, so it was perfect for us. Breakfast was included, and it was definitely worth it. You could pick anything from the menu, and we went for the full English both mornings. Check-out was at 11am, which gave us time to enjoy a chilled morning before leaving. The staff were lovely – really friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We’d definitely recommend it, especially for couples who enjoy golf. We’d happily go back!

Just booked a last minute stay here. Faye at the front desk was so kind and accommodating and went above and beyond to help us. This was the same with the spa stuff, was very kind and happy to help which made the stay very enjoyable. The restaurant was a bit slow, but the staff were very nice, it seemed they might have been understaffed so would assume that it wasn’t their fault. Over all it was a lovely stay!

Lovely location and rooms. Enjoyed our groups sole use of the spa. Evening meal in the restaurant was good value and tasty. Breakfast again was tasty and pleasant views of the golf course. However service was exceedingly slow. Tea/coffee took half an hou to arrive. Food longer. Overall one and half hours for breakfast which is fine if you like a leisurely breakfast.

Just spent 3 nights here with friends. The accommodation was nice and the course was good, but the level of customer service was poor. They closed the kitchen on Saturday at 5pm then on Sunday we were told we couldn’t order food as a group had just ordered 20 roast dinners and the kitchen couldn’t cope with any more. We ate breakfast the first morning which was fine just a lengthy wait for it considering how many people were in the restaurant. We were being warned about pace of play immediately on arrival being told that we had to keep up with the members as they play fast, which they didn’t. Nice place but would have been nice to have been a bit more welcoming in the clubhouse. Reception staff were welcoming.

Absolutely stunning location and lodges. Only spent one night unfortunately as it was a business trip but what a gorgeous place. The food and service in the restaurant was fantastic, breakfast was amazing, free EV charging was an added bonus and the lodges themselves are done to a high standard and very peaceful. Accommodation was absolutely spotless too!

We stayed here for 3 nights 23/08/24 in one of the lodges. On the last night having to get up at 7am we went to bed about 11.30. At 12.45 am we had 2 group of young men suddenly sitting on their balcony opposite us drinking and shouting till 01.30. Asked them to tone it down but no joy. Rang the reception. Not sure if they came to have a word but. I thought these resorts didn’t allow large groups of men and women. Anyway just a warning to others. The men had no respect for families that were sleeping. Also having our shoes off our feet were black through walking about so definitely hadn’t had the floor mopped

Reception and spa staff are fantastic very welcoming friendly and professional. Spa and location are great. Accommodation looks modern and up market . However the bad smell in the bathroom was overwhelming an issue with the septic tank apparently which took the gloss off the stay . Also a group of drunk "neighbours " on the Saturday night who were up to 1am wasn't ideal. No staff on site to monitor this.

Our stay at The Springs Resort Alder Lodge was perfect. Upon arrival we met the wonderful Sophie and Faye who went above and beyond to make our stay extremely memorable. Beautiful room, gorgeous sunset views. We would without a doubt stay here again.
